Our Assessment: This is Smith & Wesson’s Model 29-3 The Silhouette, built on the N-Frame with a square butt. This revolver has a beautiful blue finish, with wide serrated case colored trigger and wide checkered hammer. This revolver is a little large for defense or as a hunting sidearm but would make a fantastic gun for handgun hunting. Where it will really shine is in silhouette matches. With its adjustable front sight which can quickly change between four preset elevations, this revolver will make short work of chickens, pigs, turkeys and rams (the steel ones or the real ones). Please see our pictures and good luck!
