Markings: The rear of the receiver is marked “US RIFLE M1A / SPRINGFIELD / ARMORY / 250889”. The top of the bolt is marked “7790186-SA / F00213” and the bottom is marked “T1” with “0889” hand-scribed. The right side of the front sight assembly is marked “NM 062”, the top of the rear sight aperture is marked “595”. The top of the barrel at the front is marked “SM 308 SS”, the right under the op rod is marked “SPRINGFIELD INC. GENESEO, IL”.

Barrel Length: Approximately 22 inches; 25 inches to the end of the removable muzzle break.

Sights / Optics: The National Match front sight is a bladed post set between 2 protective ears. The rear sight is a hooded 0.0595″ aperture adjustable for windage and elevation in 1/2 MOA increments. The left of the receiver has provision for mounting a scope with a stripper-clip guide installed in a dovetail on the top of the receiver between the rear sight and ejection port.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is an over-sized walnut with pistol gripk, straight comb, flip-up checkered steel buttplate with trapdoor storage compartment underneath and sling swivels front and rear. The stock has no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 1/8″ to the back of the flip-up buttplate, 13″ to the back of the plate underneath.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp & deep. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The screw heads are intact. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with a single 10-round magazine and a red plastic chamber flag. The magazine has very faint operational wear with intact feed lips and a strong spring in about Fine-Excellent condition.
