Our Assessment: This is a particlarly rare Smith & Wesson revolver. Produced in 1997 at Smith & Wesson’s renowned Performance Center, approximately 200 of these revolvers were made with most sent to Germany, only around 50 remained in the US to be distributed by Lew Horton. With its slab-sided barrel, mag-na-porting and adjustable barrel weights, this revolver will be a target shooter’s dream. It is chambered for the classic .45 Colt cartridge, which means this would also make a fantastic hunting revolver. That said, given how rare these revolvers are, its high condition and original box, this is likely to make a dedicated Smith & Wesson collector very happy. Please see our photos and good luck!
