Markings: The right side of the receiver is marked “Made By Cn Romarm Sa/Cugir / in Romania / Imported CAI Georgia, VT”. The left side of the receiver is marked “D-8795-76 RO”.
Barrel Length: 24”, 26 ¾” to the end of the muzzle break.
Sights / Optics: This rifle is mounted with iron sights and a scope. The iron sights are standard military with protected post front sight and sliding elevation rear sight. There is also an “LPS 4×6 TIP2” scope installed. The scope is numbered “25447-79”. The optics is the Soviet bloc equivalent of mil-dots. There is a horizontal hash marked crosshair and a center crosshair with arrow heads. The left quadrant inside the scope shows a graph. There are n0o dings or mars in the external scope. This scope and mount rate in about Excellent condition. The scope is provided with its military cloth and leather cover also in Excellent condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are standard military smooth wood. There are just a few handling marks and no cracks or losses. The LOP measures approx. 12 ½” from the trigger to the back of the hard buttplate.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp and deep. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minor handling marks and minor mars on the metal surfaces. The Screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger pull is smooth and crisp. We did not fire this rifle. This rifle is equipped with a bullet button and provided with one ten round magazine.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: A scope with mount and cover is provided as described above. There are sling swivels installed.
Our Assessment: This is the “Romanian” Dragunov. It is a highly regarded battle proven rifle. This particular rifle shows little if any use. It is as clean as a new rifle. This rifle is accurate and shoots cheap 7.62x54R ammo. Here is a high class plinker that you defend the fort with.
