Markings: The left side of the upper barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH / MADE IN JAPAN/MIROKU”. The left of the monoblock is marked “INVECTOR / PLUS / 30″” and “08742ZV”, the bottom of the monoblock is marked with three proofs. The right of the top barrel is marked “CITORI SPECIAL STEEL 12GA – 2 3/4″ AND 3″”. The inside of the forend iron is marked “08742” and the inside of the forend is stamped “08742”. The top tang, under the lever, is marked “08742ZV131”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “BROWNING / Citori”. Each side of the receiver is marked “CROSSOVER / TARGET” in gold with a stylized superimposed “X” in Crossover. The bottom of the trigger guard is marked with Browning’s Buck Mark logo.

Barrel Length: 30”, Vent-Rib

Choke: The barrels are threaded for Invector Plus chokes and has extended Improved Cylinder over Modified installed.

Sights / Optics: This shotgun is mounted with a white bead in a base at the front and a smaller white mid-bead on the ventilated rib

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with pistol grip with right-side palm-swell, straight comb and solid black rubber buttpad. The stocks have only light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is sharp. The LOP measures 14 1/2” from the front of the trigger to the back of the pad, 13 7/8″ to the back of the wood. Drop at comb is 1 3/8″, drop at heel is 2″. The pad has no notable wear or damage. The stocks rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion in the bores.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly including the ejectors. The barrels lock up with no play to the receiver. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: From Browning’s website: “The Citori Crossover is a unique sporting over under, designed with a 60/40 Point of Impact, an incredibly popular configuration for sport shooters due to its versatility across multiple sport shooting disciplines. The Crossover has the look and feel of a thoroughbred with all the top features you want. Like vented top and side ribs, classic Citori rounded forearm, Midas Grade extended choke tubes, front and mid beads and a highly polished blued finish. For some shooters it can be a huge advantage to shoot the same shotgun for multiple disciplines. Once you have figured you new gun out, you don’t have to adjust to another gun going from one clay target game to the next.” This shotgun is in Excellent condition and ready for any or all clay sports.
