Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 94% of its metal finish. The barrels have a few scattered light marks with light wear from the forend, concealed when assembled. The edges of the rib have a few scattered spots of light wear. The receiver has a couple of small scratches on the top-right, one more on the bottom-left a few scattered light marks and some very light thinning at some edges. The trigger guard is thinning at edges and the bottom tang has handling wear. The lever shows little handling wear with more on the safety slider and the top tang shows operational wear from the slider. The screw heads are tool marked with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Very Good-plus condition and would likely be closer to Fine but for the stock wear.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly including the ejectors. The barrels lock up with no play to the receiver. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun comes in a brown hard-sided Browning case with brown pile interior, keys for the case, the extra chokes and a choke wrench and an Al’s Custom optic base which clamps to the vent-rib. The case has scattered light scratches on the exterior with only light wear on the interior, in about Very Good-plus condition. The optic base has scattered light marks, in about Fine condition.

Our Assessment: Browning Citori shotguns are extremely dependable and make for great investments. This example is the 3″ Hunting model and looks to have seen infrequent and responsible use in the field. It has strong mechanics, bright bores and tight lockup with scattered light wear in the stocks and metal. It comes with a nice case with replacement choke tubes and an optic mount. This should make a great hunting gun with its 3″ chambers and probably wouldn’t do too bad at the trap field, either. Please see our photos and good luck!

CA Legal or CA Private Party Transferable: This shotgun can be transferred in California.
