Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON”. The left side of the frame has Smith & Wesson’s monogram logo. The right side of the barrel is marked “10MM”. The right side of the frame has the four line marcas registradas address. The crane cut is marked “BFA5731 / MOD. 610” and the crane is marked “575”. The left side of the grip frame is marked “C14”, “S”, “F25”, “J” in triangle and “37469”. The bottom of the grip frame is marked with the serial number. The right side of the grip frame is marked “90032 575”.
Barrel Length: 6 1/2”
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramp pinned to the serrated rib. The rear sight is a square notch leaf in a base which is adjustable for windage and elevation.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are Hogue black pebble textured rubber with finger grooves. The grips have some light scuffing on the butt and little else visible in terms of wear or damage. There are no rips or tears in the grips. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Finish Originality: Factory Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. The cylinder has a light turn line. The left side of the frame has a pair of light scratches just behind the logo and another on the rear of the trigger guard just beneath the logo. The trigger and hammer show light use wear, visible only due to their frosted finish. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: This is a Smith & Wesson model 610 which takes the power of the 10mm and puts it in a round-butt N target frame. Through the use of moon clips you can even shoot this revolver with the lighter .40 S&W to save money and wrist pain. This would make a great revolver for ICORE, hunting, target shooting, or even home defense.
