Honest rub handling wear is found on the straps of the grip frame, mainspring housing (which is also range correct), flanks and grip safety, all the way to bare metal which has rich brown patina. Blue remains in strong patches on the frame and smaller components, the back of the hammer’s blue is bright. Some small bruises and handling marks are present, but in all, this frame does have its original finish and looks to have seen honest, very old handling use. The screw heads are mildly tooled but highly serviceable. The markings are crisp. Overall, this handgun frame rates in about Very Good to Fine condition. The trigger has two marks from and old trigger shoe.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The smaller components are correct to this serial number range and still present crisp mechanics. The trigger has two small marks from set screws driven in from the right side, the trigger produces a crisp pull. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
