Markings: The left side of the slide has Glock’s logo and “17 AUSTRIA 9X19”, the right is marked with Glock’s logo and the serial number, found again on the barrel, along with “9×19”, a pentagon, the logo and “AT”. The left side of the frame is marked “GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA.” The factory hard case reflects the frame and installed slide’s serial number. The extra slide has serial number XMP553, reflected on the barrel.
Barrel Length: 6.02″ & 4.49”
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a recessed white dot. The rear sight is a square notched base with a white square outline, adjustable for windage and elevation. The extra slide has conventional Glock fixed sights.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip frame presents raised square checkering on the fore and back straps; the flanks are pebbled; the frame has a concave trigger guard, also sporting this checkering. The underside of the frame has an integral accessory rail. The frame shows only the lightest scuffs as photographed. The frame rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Finish Originality: Factory Original
Bore Condition: The bores are bright and the polygonal rifling is highly pronounced with very little evidence of use. There is no erosion in the bores.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance is shown as light scuffs, some thinning on the leading edges of the slide and some expected operational wear on the barrel from normal use. The markings are crisp. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The pistol incorporates Glock’s Safe Action (https://us.glock.com/technology/safe-action) and has light play to the frame. Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included are four factory 10 round magazines, the original hard case and a conventional Model 17 slide, barrel and spring assembly. All show light wear, in Excellent condition.
