Markings: The left side of the slide has HK’s monogram logo and “USP ELITE .45 AUTO”, with an eagle over “N” nitro proof, the date code, an Ulm antler and the serial number. The barrel, visible through the ejection port, is marked “HK / .45 AUTO”, the serial number and eagle over “N” proof. The flanks of the grip frame are marked “USP”, the upper right hand of the frame is marked “HK Sidearms GmbH / Made in Germany”, the underside of the trigger guard is marked “WARNING / REFER TO OWNER’S MANUAL”, the underside of the frame has a metal plaque with the serial number and “HKI TRUSSVILLO, AL”.
Barrel Length: 6″
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Patridge blade, dovetailed onto the slide. The rear sight is a square notched leaf in a base that is adjustable for windage and elevation.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are integral to the frame; the flanks are textured, the fore and back straps are checkered, the forward portion has rails for mounting accessory items. The frame is free of notable marks. The frame rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Finish Originality: Factory Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the polygonal rifling is highly defined. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The barrel has normal operational scuff wear. This pistol looks to have been used infrequently and was well taken care of in the interim. The markings are crisp. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The pistol has an intentionally heavier double action pull and a crisp, short single action pull. The pistol’s left side mounted frame safety doubles as a decocker and the underside of the trigger guard has an ambidextrous magazine release. The frame is mounted with a slotted rail for lights or laser mounting (not included). We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The pistol comes with one 10 round factory magazine, an un-opened test cartridge envelope, 4 green o-rings, two take down tools, an Allen wrench, owner’s manual, factory cleaning kit in an HK pouch and the original factory box; the box has light scuffs in Fine to Excellent condition, all else is in Excellent condition.

The Elite also includes higher-profile fully adjustable front and rear sights. Certain models of this gun also have a slightly longer slide release, or have the mechanism itself moved further toward the grip, for increased comfort. The Elite is slightly more accurate, but longer and somewhat hard to carry for uniformed personnel. Most USP Elite models are used as target pistols and can be found in many competitions.” The HK USP is one hell of a tough pistol and were designed to take the worst beating you can throw at it. This one looks to have seen minimal use and comes with just about every accessory you’d want to begin with. .45 ACP’s stopping power is indisputable, the cartridge saw service in both World War conflicts, this 6″ pistol should add some power over a standard 5″ 1911 barrel.
