Markings: The left side of the barrel at the chamber is marked “45-70 GOV”. The underside of the receiver is marked “LUXUS / ARMS / L124”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a silver bead dovetailed into a fore-aft slot in a banded base fixed to the barrel. The base is grooved for addition of a sight hood, but the hood is missing. The rear sight is a “U” notch dovetailed into the top of the quarter-rib attached to the barrel. The sight can be adjusted for windage and elevation. A scope or other optics can be attached to the quarter-rib.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are fancy checkered Turkish walnut with an oiled finish. The buttstock has a pistol grip with a case colored steel grip cap and a thick solid black recoil pad marked Pachmayr. There is a case colored sling swivel bracket inlaid into the belly and a stud on the bottom of the barrel for attaching a sling. There are no handling marks in the stocks and the checkering is sharp to the touch. The LOP measures 14 3/16” from the front of the trigger to the back of the recoil pad. The recoil pad shows only minor wear and is still soft and pliable. The pad is in about Excellent condition. The stocks rate in about Mint overall condition.
Type of Finish: The barrel has a black matte finish and the receiver and trigger guard have a case colored finish.
Finish Originality: All Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99+% of its metal finish. There are no marks in the finish that we could find. The screw heads are sharp and the markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Mint condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The hammer mounted on the right side of the receiver must be cocked in order for the single stage trigger to operate. The action is opened by squeezing the lever at the back of the trigger guard. We have not fired this rifle.

The Model 11 has a bushed firing pin that diverts gases for safety and allows the flexibility of using any chambered barrel Luxus Arms makes…no restraint to certain families of cartridges. In short, the Model 11 is the perfect firearm for hunting anything from small game to whitetail in the mid-west to elk above a granite basin out west, or, a dark bruin along a misty beach somewhere. It is a rifle for all hunters, from those wanting a firearm that is lightweight and elegant to those seeking a firearm that exemplifies their personal passion for hunting and the outdoors. In addition, its takedown feature comes in handy when taking the rifle with you on a hunting trip. This rifle is really beautiful, so please see our pictures!! The rifle is in MINT condition without a mark or blemish on it. This writer has been at LSB Auctions for 3 ½ years, and this is the first time I have seen a gun without ANY marks on it – and this includes pistols that were new in the box. The only thing we could find wrong with this rifle is that the front sight hood is missing. It has a 26” chrome-moly match-grade barrel, a quarter rib for scope mounting as well as iron sights, and exhibition grade Turkish walnut stocks. The rifle is light, weighing only 6 lbs. 6ozs. Chambered in .45-70 Govt., it is capable of taking all of the North American game animals, and should easily provide someone a lifetime of shooting enjoyment.
