Our Assessment: From Robar’s SR60 pamphlet “The SR60 is a rugged, dependable, easy to use rifle. The stock is the same design as the one used by the U.S. Marine Corps on their M-40 A1 Rifle. The SR60 is the industry standard for precision rifles and proves this by delivering ½ M.O.A. accuracy, guaranteed. The metal finish is our standard black Chrome Sulphide, which meets MIL-C-13924B for corrosion resistance. The rifle has a proven track record with many military and police units.” The rifle is chambered in .308 Winchester. From Gunnersden.com: “The short-rifle-action 308 Winchester rifle cartridge was introduced to the public in 1952, since that time, additional rifle cartridges of different calibers and names have been introduced based on the use of the 308 Winchester cartridge case as the parent case thus creating a family of rifle cartridges with similar case capacity for rifle powder that fit lighter weight, short-action-rifles.” This is a very solid platform with a nearly $2,000 scope; it has been customized by Robar Arms, is chambered in .308 Winchester and has the paperwork to prove it’s 1/2 MOA capabilities. Be it tactical or Benchrest, this rifle will handily resist corrosion and sloppy groupings in one fell swoop. Please see our photographs of the paperwork for further detail, especially on how to break the barrel in. The rifling is sharp, the rifle is in about Excellent condition and it is begging to hit the range.
