Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number and “Remington G3”. Both sides of the receiver are laser engraved. The right side of the receiver is marked “MODEL 1100” and “Remington G3”. The bottom of the grip is marked “R”. The recoil pad is marked “R” and “LimbSaver / Pat. Pending”. The right side of the barrel shank is double stamped with a proof mark, the left side is stamped with a date code, the bottom is stamped “S” and the top is stamped “E in a circle” & “MB in a square”. The left side of the barrel is marked “star 20 GA 2 ¾ inch OR 3 inch”. The installed Rem Choke is marked “Remington / .:MOD”.
The top of the presentation case is marked “Remington” on a raised black leather patch. The interior of the case is marked “Remington”, in gold stitching, on the top center of the case.

Barrel Length: Approximately 26 Inches

Choke: A Modified Rem Choke is installed.

Sights / Optics: This shotgun is mounted with a small steel center bead and a white plastic forward bead on a ventilated, serrated rib.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The two piece high grade walnut stock is carbon reinforced and has a satin finish. It has a pistol grip, finger grooves, fluted comb, decorative checkering on both halves, metal grip base with plastic insert, and a soft rubber recoil pad with black spacer. The stock shows only light handling marks. The recoil pad is scuffed and scraped on the edge. The LOP measures 14 inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the recoil pad. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The barrels rear tang shows light marks and light thinning. This portion of the barrel is not visible when that gun is assembled as the tang is inside the receiver. There are a few light handling marks. The pins are intact. The markings are deep. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The shotgun comes in a high grade presentation case that is marked “Remington” on the inside and on the outside. It measures approximately 37 ¼ x 10 ¾ x 4 ½ inches. The exterior to and bottom are black padded nylon. The edges appear to be black leather. The interior is padded and felt lined. There is a mesh storage compartment on the right side of the lid and a felt lined sectional storage compartment on the left. The sectional compartment flips up and has a snap to keep it closed. The bottom portion of the case has a lower section for the gun and a top section for the barrel. The lower section has a leather strap and buckle that secures the grip of the shotgun in place. There are 5 padded felt coved spacers/cushions to help keep the gun from moving. The top section has two sets of Velcro to secure the barrel in place. The case has two hinges that keep the case open when viewing or loading the contents. The bottom of the case has 4 rounded metal studs to rest the case on. Each side has a metal stud to secure a sling to. The top of the case has a handle and two combination locks. The top nylon section of the case shows a few marks. The remainder of the exterior shows only scuffs. The interior of the case is in about Excellent condition. The exterior of the case is in about Fine to Excellent condition.
The shotgun comes with a 1 ½ inch wide nylon sling which is still in its packaging. It is in about Excellent condition. It also comes with its original manual and a promotional flyer. These items are in about Excellent condition.

Our Assessment: This is a Nice Remington Model 1100 G3 that comes with a high grade travel case and a Titanium PVD coated receiver (Physical Vapor Deposition Process) that is laser engraved. The Remington Model 1100 G3 was only manufactured from 2006 to 2008, so you can’t go out and buy one from the factory. Now is your chance to get on that is in Excellent condition.
