Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON”. The yoke cut is marked “19-3”. The yoke is marked “34582/ F15”. The right side of the barrel is marked “S.&W. 357 MAGNUM”. The right side of the frame is marked with the four line Marcas Registradas address. The right side plate is marked with the S&W logo. The butt is marked “8K64159”. The left grip frame is marked “5 H1 A15 / 34582”. The right grip frame is marked “N” in a triangle and “N” in a circle.
Barrel Length: 2 ½”
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramp. There is an S&W micrometer click adjustable square notch rear sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are round butt checkered walnut with brass colored S&W medallions. There is little to no wear other than factory imperfections on the border where the edge is not perfectly straight. The grips rate in about Fine to Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are only the lightest handling marks and the faintest dragline on the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder hinge is a bit stiff from lack of use. We did not fire this handgun.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in its original blue cardboard box with matching end label and factory cleaning kit. The S&W wrapping paper, owner’s manual and various pamphlets are also included. The box only shows light storage wear and rates in Fine Condition.
Our Assessment: This could be a great addition to a collection because of its excellent condition. This pistol accepts both the cheaper and lighter .38 Special rounds as well as .357 Magnum rounds which are ideal for self-defense making this a great gun to own. Its shorter barrel makes it ideal for carry and self-defense.
