Our Assessment: This is a rare commercial Mauser in 6.5×54 Mauser, which is not the same as the 6.5×54mm Mannlicher-Schönauer. It has double set triggers with the front trigger letting off at about 8 ounces. It is a light Mauser with distinctive looks. It is a must for the Mauser collector. See page 1275 of Fjestad’s “Blue Book of Gun Values” 33rd Edition.
