Our Assessment: While perhaps best known for their utilitarian rifles and pistols, Ruger also introduced their Red Label shotgun in the late 1970s. With Remington offering the only other American-made over-under double shotguns of reasonable quality, Ruger felt that they could provide a product of equal or better quality at a price that more Americans could afford, made right here. The guns were successful and sold for nearly forty years in a number of different variants. This example is a 12 gauge All Weather with stainless steel construction, synthetic stocks and has beautiful factory engraving with gold embelishments. It doesn’t appear to have seen much use with about 97% of its metal finish remaining, bright bores and strong mechanics. If you’re looking for a quality, American made over-under, look no further. Please see our photos and good luck!
CA Legal or CA Private Party Transferable: This shotgun can be transferred in California.
