Markings: The rear of the receiver is marked “U.S. RIFLE / 7.62MM M25 / LRB ARMS / 10783″. The top of the bolt is marked “7790186 / TRW ZA”. The right of the receiver below the op-rod channel is marked “JVP SEYMOUR CT USA”. The right of the barrel is marked “LRB 7790190 8/08 2S CBI”. The bottom of the stock’s hand-stop rail is marked with a JAE logo and “J. ALLEN ENTERPRISES INC. / MODEL JAE-100 G2 PATENT PENDING / PRECISION MANUFACTURED IN THE U.S.A.”.

Barrel Length: 18 1/2”, 21 1/2″ to the end of the LRB muzzle brake.

Sights / Optics: The rear sight is a non-hooded aperture adjustable for windage and elevation. The front sight is a blade integral to a base with protective ears dovetailed to a base integral to the muzzle brake mount. There is an optic rail installed on the top of the receiver.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a J. Allen Enterprises JAE-100 G2 Precision Rifle Stock with CA compliant pistol grip with palm-shelf, monopod mounting point, adjustable comb, sling mount points, rail sections on the bottom ane sides of the forend and serrated rubber buttpad. The stock has no notable wear or damage, only ight handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 1/4″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. Overall, the stock is in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The chrome-lined bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its visible metal finish. There is light operational wear on the bolt, receiver and the operating. We did not remove the rifle from the stock for inspection. The markings are clear. The screw heads are undamaged. Overall, this rifle is in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The two-stage trigger has a smooth takeup followed by a crisp break. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork& Accessories: This rifle comes with FM 23-8 the M14 and M14E2 field manual, JAE-100 G2 stock manual, an assortment of factory paperwork from LRB Arms/JV Precision and an assortment of stock accessories including QD swivels, cheek rest spacers, palm-rest spacers, installation tools and hardware and an assortment of additional screws. A tag is also included indicating the rifle was ordered in January 2010, made January 2011, function fired February 2011 and built with 18 1/2″ medium chrome lined barrel, muzzle brake, JAE stock, NM trigger, NM guide, with two other notes we don’t recognize “TIN” or “T/N PIST.” and “UNIT.GAS”. Please note, this rifle does not come with a magazine.

Our Assessment: LRB Arms is well known as one of the highest quality manufacturers of genuine forged M14 pattern rifles and parts. This example is one of their custom rifles, built on their forged receiver with an 18 1/2″ chrome lined medium weight barrel, JAE-100 G2 precision rifle stock, national match trigger and an LRB muzzle-brake. The rifle is in Excellent condition with only light operational wear and handling marks. If you’re looking for the absolute best out of the M14 style rifle, you can’t do much better than this.
