Markings: The top tang is marked “43947”. The water table is marked with script “BR” in oval. The bottom of the receiver is marked “ARTEMIS DE LUXE”. The trigger plate is marked “Made in Italy” and is signed “Bottega C. Giovanelli”. The left of the top barrel is marked “WARNING: READ OWNER’S MANUAL BEFORE USE” and at the chamber “Rizzini / MADE IN ITALY”, concealed by the forend the left of the top barrel is marked with “CAM 76 15.9” and an Italian proof. The left of the bottom barrel is marked “KG1,220 15.9” and with an Italian proof. The bottom of the monoblock is marked “20/76”, script “BR” in oval, “43947”, “BS” in square date code and with two Italian proofs. The right of the top barrel at the chamber is marked “20 ga. 3″ Magnum”. The forend iron is marked “43947”. The receiver has scroll engraving with each sideplate and the bottom having a fowling scene with the animals plated in gold. Each side of the receiver has “RIZZINI” on a banner amid the engraving.

Barrel Length: 28″, Vent-Rib

Choke: This shotgun is threaded for removable chokes. Currently installed are Modified over Improved Cylinder. Also included are two Full and one Cylinder Bore.

Sights / Optics: There is a brass bead at the front of the vent-rib and the rib is finely checkered on top to reduce glare.

Weight: 6 lb., 10.0 oz.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are checkered walnut with rounded-bottom pistol grip, straight comb, checkered bare butt, schnabel forend tip and the forend iron has an exposed diamond with smooth border in the center of the checkering on the bottom. The stocks have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14 1/2″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the butt. Drop at comb measures 1 3/8″, drop at heel 2 1/4″. The cast is about neutral. Overall, the stocks are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion in the bores.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains approximately 99% of its metal finish. Apart from very faint operational wear, there are only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly including ejectors. The trigger is selected with a switch on the safety slider, with one dot showing the bottom barrel fires first, with two dots showing the top barrel fires first. The safety does not automatically engage when the action is opened. The action locks up tight with no play to the action. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun comes in a burgundy hard-sided Rizzini carry case with red velvet sleeves for the stock and barrel assemblies, manual, Rizzini accessory case with the additional chokes and a choke wrench, stock wrench, Rizzini sling swivels and a can of Rizzini branded gun oil. The exterior of the case has a few scattered light scuffs and storage wear, the interior shows light wear from the contents, in about Very Good-Fine condition. The accessories are in Excellent condition.

Our Assessment: This Rizzini Artemis Deluxe represents some of the finest work to come from Rizzini. With its gorgeous select Turkish walnut stocks and engraved game scenes with gold accents in its coin finished receiver, this is a shotgun that will turn some heads at the range with performance to match its looks. The shotgun is in Excellent condition showing only very faint operational wear. The gun comes with just about everything it would brand-new including case, chokes, stock wrench, gun oil, even sling swivels.
