Our Assessment: This rifle is configured the same way that the U.S. Army is now configuring their M14s. The Army has re-called all M14s from armories and is 1) re-barreling them to 21 inches, 2) adding quad rails and 3) collapsible stocks with 4) a scope mount and scope. Be the first one on your block to have the civilian version configured the same way. This rifle has a scope, a bipod, a collapsible stock, an adjustable cheekpiece and all the rail you need to add any other accessories. This rifle was purchased and built in 2011 and has seen little use. All the work is done for you. Take this rifle away and compete in three-gun competition in the “Heavy Metal” category. Here is a winning rifle. Here is a link to see current military using this exact configuration http://www.desertwarriorproducts.com/SageStocks.html. If you tried to build this rifle yourself you would spend about $1800 for the rifle, $725 for the stock, $100 for the Bipod and mount, $600+ for the scope and mounts. Add the bullet button to that and you will have spent over $3300 not including tax and shipping. some firther reading: http://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/m14-enhanced-battle-rifle/.
